According to the programme, the presentation is scheduled as Session III from 12.20 to 12.45 pm (IST).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-cm-color-6-color has-text-color has-link-color has-public-sans-font-family has-medium-font-size wp-elements-803be19467057bcd24bae7c2f89fca08\">At the workshop, Asst. Prof. Wirongrong Duangjai will speak on \u201cIndigenous and Traditional Ecological Knowledge in Restoration Practices,\u201d focusing on small-scale, locally based, farmer-led restoration experiences in Thailand, while also drawing connections to broader Southeast Asian contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-cm-color-6-color has-text-color has-link-color has-public-sans-font-family has-medium-font-size wp-elements-74cbf18f880618248cd98a8aa81a993b\">The presentation reflects the growing importance of Indigenous and traditional ecological knowledge in contemporary restoration efforts. By highlighting farmer-led practices in Thailand, the talk will demonstrate how local knowledge and community-based approaches can contribute to ecological restoration in practical and meaningful ways. It will also offer perspectives on how these experiences may inform restoration pathways across the wider Southeast Asian region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-cm-color-6-color has-text-color has-link-color has-public-sans-font-family has-medium-font-size wp-elements-0e30b2c4e32b93adddaf257537d4574f\">This invitation marks an important opportunity to showcase Thailand\u2019s local restoration experiences on an international academic platform, while strengthening regional dialogue on sustainable landscape management, ecological resilience, and community-based restoration
