เมื่อวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม 2568 คณะวนศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์จากTottori University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเยือนคณะวนศาสตร์ เพื่อหารือแนวทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ การแลกเปลี่ยนนิสิตและคณาจารย์ ตลอดจนการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนา Exchange Program ระหว่าง Tottori University และ Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University (KUFF) เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นิสิตและนักศึกษาจากทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัยได้เรียนรู้และทำกิจกรรมทางวิชาการร่วมกัน ตลอดจนสร้างประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ในสภาพแวดล้อมนานาชาติ และมีแผนจัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนในวันที่ 11 กุมภาพันธ์ 2570 (11 February 2027) โดย Tottori University มีกำหนดนำนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมจำนวน 10 คน ประกอบด้วยนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก 2 คน และระดับปริญญาตรี 8 คน พร้อมคณาจารย์ 2 คน ซึ่งมาจากหลากหลายสาขาวิชา เพื่อร่วมกิจกรรมกับนิสิตและคณาจารย์ของคณะวนศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมุ่งส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ระหว่างนักศึกษาจากหลากหลายสาขา รวมถึงการสร้างความเข้าใจระหว่างวัฒนธรรมและการพัฒนาเครือข่ายทางวิชาการระหว่างเยาวชนนักวิชาการของทั้งสองสถาบันนอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัยยังให้ความสำคัญกับการขยายความร่วมมือจาก student exchange ไปสู่ research collaboration โดยจะส่งเสริมการจับคู่คณาจารย์ (faculty matching) ที่มีสาขาความเชี่ยวชาญและความสนใจด้านการวิจัยที่สอดคล้องกัน เพื่อพัฒนาโจทย์วิจัย โครงการวิจัย ตลอดจนผลงานวิชาการร่วมกันในอนาคต
การเยือนครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง Tottori University และคณะวนศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ และเป็นพื้นฐานสำหรับการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การแลกเปลี่ยน และการวิจัยในระยะยาวและอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University Welcomes Delegation from Tottori University, Japan, to Strengthen Student Exchange and Research Collaboration
On 4 December 2025, the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University (KUFF), welcomed a delegation from Tottori University, Japan, for a collaborative meeting to strengthen academic partnerships, student and faculty mobility, and future research collaboration between the two universities.
The Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, was represented by:

During the meeting, both institutions exchanged views on the development of an exchange program between Tottori University and the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, to create opportunities for students from both universities to participate in joint academic and intercultural activities and to gain international learning experiences.
As an outcome of the discussion, the next exchange program is planned for 11 February 2027. Tottori University is expected to bring a group of 10 students, 2 Ph.D. students and eight undergraduate students, together with two faculty members representing diverse fields of study. The program will provide a platform for students from both universities to engage in joint activities, exchange knowledge and perspectives across disciplines, develop intercultural understanding, and build academic networks.
Beyond student mobility, both universities also discussed opportunities to expand the partnership toward joint research collaboration. In particular, the two institutions aim to facilitate faculty matching based on shared areas of expertise and research interests, creating opportunities for the development of joint research projects, academic activities, and future co-authored publications.
The visit marks another important step in strengthening the partnership between Tottori University and the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, laying the foundation for sustained collaboration in education, international exchange, and research.
