Collaboration with Kyushu University, Japan
Kasetsart University Faculty of Forestry is pleased to highlight our ongoing research collaboration with Kyushu University, Japan.
The joint project focuses on advancing tropical forest conservation across Southeast Asia through large-scale analysis of protected areas and community-managed forests. This collaboration aims to generate scientific insights that support the global Nature Positive 30by30 initiative and strengthen sustainable ecosystem management.
As part of this partnership, the Faculty of Forestry had the honor of welcoming Prof. Mizoue Nobuya from Kyushu University for a discussion with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prateep Duengkae, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, together with Dr. Michael Jenke and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aor Pranchai. The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing research and enhancing future cooperation between the two institutions.
