Advancing International Academic Exchange: Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University Hosts Technical Meeting with Sichuan Forestry and Grassland Administration, China

On 14 November 2025, the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University welcomed a delegation from the Sichuan Forestry and Grassland Administration, People’s Republic of China, together with representatives from the Royal Forest Department of Thailand, for an academic meeting under the theme “Introduce to the Bamboo in Industry.”

The event aimed to strengthen international cooperation, promote knowledge exchange on bamboo resources, and explore future opportunities in sustainable bamboo industry development.

During the academic session, experts from both institutions delivered presentations and shared key insights as follows:

In addition to the presentations, all three parties engaged in a Discussion Session to exchange professional perspectives and explore Future Collaboration in bamboo research, industrial applications, and environmental management.

This academic exchange marks a meaningful step in enhancing Kasetsart University’s international engagement, supporting cross-border dialogue on sustainable bamboo utilization, and fostering long-term partnerships with leading forestry agencies in Asia.
