KU Forestry Welcomes Yunnan University Delegation
The Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, led by the Vice President for Research and Internationalization, Deputy Dean for International Affairs, the Head, Department of Forest Biology, the Head of the Department of Silviculture, and faculty members, welcomed the executive delegation and students from Yunnan University, China, on the occasion of their official Field Trip in Nakhon Ratchasima Province on Monday, 26 January 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
The purpose of this visit was to promote academic knowledge exchange between the two institutions, while providing students from Yunnan University with opportunities for field-based learning, data collection, and sample analysis in real-world settings. The activities aimed to enhance learning experiences in forest fire management, forest ecosystem carbon stock assessment, and biodiversity, as well as the application of this knowledge to the sustainable management of forest resources and the environment.
This visit represents an important milestone in strengthening academic collaboration between Kasetsart University and Yunnan University in the areas of research, faculty and student exchange, and the continuous and sustainable development of joint academic initiatives in the future.
