KUFF Welcomes BISU Delegation to Strengthen Academic Collaboration
The Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wirongrong Duangjai, Deputy Dean for International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pasuta Sunthornhao, Head of the Department of Forest Management; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Yutthaphong Kheereemangkla, Head of the Department of Conservation, welcomed Dr. Rosario Piloton and Ms. Christine Zambrano from Bohol Island State University (BISU), Republic of the Philippines, on the occasion of their official visit to the Faculty of Forestry on 10 February 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss and strengthen institutional linkages, as well as to explore potential avenues for collaboration that would generate mutual benefits for both universities, including their respective Model Forest Networks. The discussion emphasized the expansion and enhancement of academic cooperation through cross-disciplinary integration and the sustainable development of long-term institutional partnerships.
This visit marks an important milestone in advancing and reinforcing academic collaboration between the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, and Bohol Island State University (BISU), particularly in the areas of research, faculty and student exchange, as well as the joint development of future academic programs and initiatives on a sustainable basis.
