🌳 MOU Signing Ceremony on the Promotion of Thai Balled-Root Tree Business and Industry

On Friday, 13 March 2026, the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University joined forces with Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University Under the Royal Patronage, the Forest Industry Organization (FIO), the Thai Balled-Root Tree Trade Association, and G4G Company Limited to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the Promotion of Thai Balled-Root Tree Business and Industry.

The signing ceremony was held at the FORTROP Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Wanasart 60th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University.

This collaboration aims to integrate academic, professional, and human resource development efforts among educational institutions, government agencies, and the private sector. Key areas of cooperation include:

🔹 Training, education, research, and innovation in the balled-root tree industry 🔹 Developing production standards across the entire value chain — from upstream to downstream 🔹 Promoting Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Tree Transplanting techniques 🔹 Strengthening Logistics and Supply Chain management 🔹 Supporting export documentation processes 🔹 Developing integrated training curricula for industry management 🔹 Advancing marketing strategies to enhance the competitiveness of Thai producers and entrepreneurs both domestically and internationally
