Faculty of Forestry Welcomes Distinguished Professors from Durham University and University of Aberdeen, UK

🌿 The Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prateep Duengkae, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wattanchai Tasen, Head of the Department of Forest Biology, Dr. Nantida Sutummawong, Lecturer of the Department of Forest Biology, and faculty members of the Department of Forest Biology, warmly welcomed Prof. Justin Travis from Durham University and Prof. Lesley T. Lancaster from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, on the occasion of their official visit on 7 May 2026 at 10:00–11:30 a.m.

The visit aimed to explore future academic collaboration between the two institutions, and featured special lectures by both distinguished guests — “Models for Biodiversity Futures” by Prof. Justin Travis, and “From Genes to Biogeography” by Prof. Lesley T. Lancaster. The discussions focused on fostering inter-institutional linkages through interdisciplinary approaches, with the goal of developing sustainable and long-term academic partnerships.

This visit marks a significant milestone in strengthening academic collaboration between the Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, Durham University, and the University of Aberdeen — spanning joint research and the development of future academic activities and initiatives. 🌏🤝
